GCSE+ Computer Science

What?

GCSE+ Computer Science is an up to two-year programme of weekly sessions for students in Year 9-11 to learn more about coding and programming. You’ll be exploring how to use the programming language Python to code your own ciphers, draw fascinating geometrical designs with LOGO and develop your understanding of the ethics behind computer science and AI. These sessions will help you make sometimes unexpected connections between maths and computing and strengthen your understanding of the topics and concepts themselves. All while improving your reasoning and developing your problem-solving skills.

Where?

All sessions take place online.

When?

Sessions take place weekly during term time on Thursdays, from 16:45 to 18:00.

  • attend non-selective schools
